The Board of Trustees of the historic Penn Center, Inc. and the Heritage Days Celebration Committee are proud to announce the 35th Annual Heritage Days Celebration to be held November 9-11, 2017.  This year’s theme is Reconstruction Era: Changes and Challenges.

The historic Penn Center, located on St. Helena Island, South Carolina, is expecting between 8,000—10,000 visitors for this year’s celebration. Visitors from all parts of the country and the world will converge on St. Helena Island to revel in an exciting three-day event that includes food, music, educational seminars, arts and crafts, a parade, and the cultural traditions of the Gullah people.  Click this link for schedule and vendor information.
